N Gauge & Narrow gauge
N Gauge
N gauge is the most common of the smaller size model railway systems. it uses a track gauge of 9mm hence the name "N" Gauge
Once again we have the conundrum of British Prototype being small and a compromise was made so all Uk models are to a slightly larger scale !:148
Japan 1: !50
all the rest of the world 1:160 Europe all running on (mm track)

Narrow Gauge
The Narrow-gauge railways have become popular to model. The models are large for the track gauge and because they ran in many scenic areas and around some very sharp curves this is the ideal combination for small to moderate-sized layouts without them seeming like a toy train.
